Andron 2 Carolinic

Andron 2 CAR is modelled on the carolingian minuscle script. It is the very ﬁrst rendering of this early medieval style as a modern Roman typeface. Thus Andron draws back a line between our time, the classical period of Venetian Renaissance lettercasting and the birth of lowercase letters in the period of Charlemagne.
Andron 2 CAR allows you to operate within a text body with special carolinic* letterforms – or give that carolinic flavour to the whole of it.

Andron 2 CAR is available in Regular.

* We deliberately distinguish the terms carolingian (as for the historic aspect) and carolinic (as for the formal aspect).
